We take Thanksgiving very seriously

Some of my dad's great-great-great-great-great-great something grandfathers came to America on the Mayflower, so Thanksgiving is kiiind-of a big deal in our family. This year, i wanted to make something chocolate for dessert (because of all the numerous traditional Thanskgiving desserts, no one has ever developed a traditional choclate thanksgiving dish. Disappointing.) I decided I would make some fun cupcakes. This is the madness that resulted. I don't do things by halfsies, clearly.

Making the masts out of chocolate chips

Sails are melted, piped white chocolate. Also, I may have doodled with the extra.

Nutter butters plus more chocolate and candy corn make little naked turkey heads

Pilgrim hats are halves of oreos with mini reeses on top, and a little white chocolate buckle decorating.

Ready for the cupcakes.

Ta-Da!

Happy Pilgrim Day!
