Why, as a future parent, I will not make a good disciplinarian.

Firstly, my children will be allowed to jump, climb, or roll over anything in the house...

Note two things: One, that little grin Ian makes. How can anyone possibly say no to that?? And two, he's wearing my brother's old shorts. Ian idolizes John and proudly sports his hand-me-downs.

Secondly, they will be free to make as much noise, no matter how loud and obnoxious, as they like:

Please watch the child on the left as well as the one on the right. You will laugh at cuteness.

And thirdly, they will get away--quite literally--with anything.
